Today Azovstal operates the Quality Management System approved by the American Petroleum Institute and Classification Society TUV NORD CERT as complying to the requirements of API Spec Q1 and ISO 9001. The certificates substantiate the achievement of realistic and sustainable improvements by the company as the developer and the manufacturer of rolled steel plates to API Spec 2H and 2Y, continuously cast slabs, ingots, carbon low-alloy and alloy steel plates, rails, rail fasteners, beams, channels, angles, special application shapes, steel milling balls.
According to the audit of the Quality Management System performed in August 2010 Certificate № 44 100 101540 dated 26 августа 2010 was issued by Classification Society TUV NORD CERT (Germany) that confirms compliance of Azovstal's Quality Management System to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008.
