On September 29, meeting of Enver Tskitishvili, Director General of PJSC "AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS", and Yuri Khotlubei, Mariupol Mayor, was held at "AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS" (Metinvest Group). At the meeting Enver Tskitishvili was honored with award "Contribution to Social and Economic Development of Mariupol" by Yuri Khotlubei. This award was given within the framework of the city contest "Mariupol Citizen of the Year 2011".
At the meeting Major was very grateful for significant contribution of the leading core company – "AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS" – to dynamic development of the city, support of social and economic programs, its improvement. The Works systematically renders effective assistance to the educational and health care institutions. Constant priorities of "AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS" social activities are focused on care and attention to the younger generation. In this year "AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS" appropriated more than 5 mln. UAH for support and development of social and economic activities of the city under the agreement on cooperation between the Works and Mariupol City Council.
Enver Tskitishvili, Director General of PJSC "AZOVSTAL IRON & STEEL WORKS", in his turn, emphasized that high-powered work is the basis for sustainable development of the enterprise and Mariupol.
