The Supervisory Board of METINVEST HOLDING, LLC approved Nikolay Ischenko as the Director of Iron Ore Division.
Nikolay Ischenko is 45 years old. Mr. Ischenko started his career in 1987 at the State Enterprise «Krivbassvzryvprom». He grew from an economist to the General Director of «PPP «Krivbassvzryvprom» OJSC.
From September 2000, he worked as the Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of «PPP «Krivbassvzryvprom» OJSC, the largest explosive works company in Europe.
From July 2007 till July 2009 he occupied the position of the Deputy Director of Iron Ore Division of Metinvest Group. From July 2009 to March 2010 he worked as the General Director of JSC Ingulets Iron Ore Enrichment Works. In March 2010 he was appointed as the Acting Director of Iron Ore Division of Metinvest Group.
Nikolay Ischenko has two higher educations: in 1985 he graduated from Kiev Institute of National Economy in specialty of Economist, in 1992 he graduated from the Krivoy Rog Mining Institute (currently Technical University of Krivoy Rog) in specialty of Mining Engineer, Mr. Ischenko has Ph.D. in Economics.
Nikolay Ischenko worked at ground zero of Iron Ore Division of Metinvest Group. Management experience, active life philosophy, high moral values characterize him as a successful manager capable of making constructive decisions and resolve the set objectives effectively.
