Head of Minitary and Civil Administration Pavel Zhebrivsky:

- Today, along with the Mayor, we discussed the creation of the regional hospital in Mariupol. Those medical institutions, which are present in the city, including the regional clinic, will require medical personnel. Finally, Mariupol will have a base for training medical staff. I am sure that many students will be educated in this higher education institution to work in the future for the benefit of Mariupol residents.

Vadym Boychenko, Mariupol City Mayor:

- The city took a strong commitment with regard to the program of higher institutions relocation program. We shall solve a lot of issues, from the construction of new buildings, to the provision of qualified staff with housing. We have a strategic plan for the implementation of large-scale projects for 'resetting' a medical health care in the city and creating a basis for high-quality education of future doctors.

Yuriy Ryzhenkov, Chief Executive Officer of Metinvest Group:

- Projects of health protection and education have always been a priority in our program of assistance to Mariupol. The opening of a medical university in the city means an opportunity for young people to obtain high-quality education. For our company, it means a strategic investment in the future of the city. This is what our company will continue to do in Mariupol and in the future.

Yuriy Dumansky, President of the National Medical University:

- Moving to Mariupol is a milestone event for our University. Support of local and regional authorities, Metinvest Group and the Mariupol Development Fund is an important step for the development of medicine in the city, namely for training of medical personnel for the region.
